Experiences

Miami is so much more than just beautiful beaches (although the beaches are pretty amazing too). There’s truly something for everyone—whether you're into art, shopping, nature, food, or music, you’ll find plenty to explore while you’re here. Here are some of our favorite experiences and spots to check out:

1. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens – A stunning European-style villa with dreamy gardens right on the water. (We’ll actually be taking wedding photos here!)

2. South Beach & Hollywood Beach – Classic white sand and turquoise waters. South Beach is iconic and buzzy, while Hollywood Beach is a little more relaxed with a cute boardwalk vibe.

3. Wynwood Walls – A must-see for street art lovers. The whole neighborhood is covered in bold, colorful murals—perfect for wandering, snapping photos, and grabbing a drink or bite.

4. Perez Art Museum (PAMM) – A beautiful modern art museum right on the bay. Chill, inspiring, and a great way to escape the heat for a couple hours.

4. Brickell City Centre A sleek, modern shopping/dining complex in the heart of the city. Tons of stores and good spots to grab a drink or meal.

5. Aventura Mall – One of the biggest malls in the U.S. (seriously). A mix of luxury stores, cool art installations, and a big food hall.

6.Design District – Art meets fashion here. You’ll find high-end shops, modern architecture, public art, and cute cafés.

7. Little Havana – Full of culture, music, and flavor. Walk down Calle Ocho, sip a cafecito, watch the domino players, and soak in the Cuban vibes.

8. Key West (day trip!) – If you’ve got the time, take the scenic drive down to Key West. It’s a few hours away but full of charm, colorful houses, and island vibes.

Eat

Miami is a cultural hub with so many incredible flavors to explore. While you're in town, we highly recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and trying cuisines from different countries—it's one of the best parts of this city! Here are some of our favorite spots, from casual eats to special-occasion-worthy places:

1. Taco Shop (Wynwood)  OUR FAVORITE TACOS**  Perfect for a quick bite while exploring street art.

2. Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza – OUR FAVORITE PIZZA SPOT**the crust is shaped like a star. Yes, it’s amazing.

3. The Salty Donut – Artisan donuts that are totally worth the hype. Go early—they sell out fast!

4.Vicky Bakery – A Miami STAPLE. Grab a cafecito and one of their famous pastelitos (guava + cheese is a must) AND a croquet. Great for a quick, delicious breakfast or snack.

5. Mi Tierra Bar & Kitchen – Authentic Dominican food that feels like home. Try the Mangu, Mofongo or sancocho!Pollo Tropical – Fast-casual Caribbean comfort food—grilled chicken, rice, beans, and sweet plantains. A quick and tasty staple.

6. Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina – Classic Cuban food in a charming Little Havana setting. Grab a mojito and enjoy the music.

7. Joe’s Stone Crab – A Miami legend. If you're into seafood, go for the stone crabs and key lime pie. Iconic for a reason.

8. Mandolin Aegean Bistro – A cozy Greek/Turkish spot tucked into a little blue-and-white cottage. Romantic, delicious, and totally unique.

9. Islas Canarias – Famous for their croquetas and Cuban comfort food. Great spot for a casual meal that still feels authentic.

10. El Carajo – A hidden gem Spanish restaurant inside a gas station (yes, really). Come for the sangria and stay for the tapas—trust us, it's way better than it sounds.

11. Pollo Tropical - BEST FAST CASUAL FOOD IN MIAMI. A staple and super affordable.
